His legacy
My Little Angel

The more people we talk to the more we make them aware of the problems that existed in your condition and we have brought many people back to the doctors to be checked now. I hate that it took losing you to bring about such an awareness but, know that we all thank you and love you for your life with us. Aunt Cathy has been very instrumental in helping to spread the word and continues to help us here with your work. We miss you my 'Lil Love. xoxoxo
P.S. Megan is a cutie thank you for helping her over.
P.S.S. By the way,... this is where the P.S. goes silly LOL!
Zach's Legacy

Zachary was born with congenital heart defect that was repaired at birth. He was a normal child in every way, he went for his yearly checkups just like other children, he had no physical restrictions like any other normal child, he wasn't on any medications. But, when Zach did go for his exams they never check the back of his heart, they only did a chest x-ray and an echocardiogram that is only able to visualize the front where they never could see that the aorta was beginning to grow too closely to the corornary arteries which closed off the blood supply causing Zachary to have an heart attack and die. Well, now they have decided it will be part of their protocol to check for this in their other patients so that there won't be any other families losing their children to this tragedy. Zachary also donated his corneas to LifeGift so someone now has the gift of vision. His legacy will live on through others as well as all of us. God is Good!

Zach

For an eleven year old boy, Zachary actually lead a very full life. He drove a train all the way from Ronkonkoma Long Island out to Montauk, He ran a front end loader tractor, played sports including his baseball, basketball, soccer and swimming. He also was learning how to build engines, he drove a boat and a jet ski, rode horses at camp one summer, canoed, he did so much in his short life. He flew in planes, raced go carts, he actually had the chance to fall in love. Zach got to experience just about everything most adults have except to get married and have children but, he was a very fortunate little boy because he was very blessed and wholly loved by those that really knew his heart! We will always keep you in our loving and broken hearts.

His Motorcycle

Zach's greatest love was racing and riding motorcycles. Zachary actually won the race the day he died. He actually was prononunced on the 8th but, he never came back after rolling off the field after winning his race. It was his greatest joy and he made it! Zachary was improving and gaining skill he probably would have been a top notch rider one day, but Our Father in heaven needed him to race for him now. We love you and miss you but, you are in the place we all wish to be one day and we will see you in the blink of an eye.
You've already saved one life we know of for sure love
Aunt Noreen was talking to a co-worker and mentioned you. The woman spoke up and said she had a nephew with the same condition. She made a call to her sister and the sister insisted that the doctors do the angiogram and they wound up putting a stent in the same exact place. the little boy was 9 years old. God had his plan for you honey. With all the love my heart can hold forever yours
